Teaching kids about money?
What do you all do in terms of money for your kids? Do they get an allowance? Do they get it no matter what or do they do chores? And how old were/are they when you started this? What do you expect them to pay for on their own and what do you buy for them?
My plan for my 4 year old is to give her 4 dollars a week and to also give her some chores around the house. My mom taught me nothing about money and saving, only taught me bad habits basically. It was only when I became an adult that I learned on my own about saving/being smart with money. So I really want to make sure to do better with my daughter.
I'm clueless about how to go about this, so any advice or ideas would be appreciated!
