stock simulator question

i opened a stock simulator account just to try out my personal knowledge. quick background story, im in my 20's have been interested in stocks since my mid teens i have self educated myself, have not now or ever opened up a real investing account (generally didnt think my knowledge was up to par)

anyways long story short ive had this simulator account since 2013 "warren buffets million dollar challenge"

my account has remain in positive standing since i opened it currently at 5%+ annual return rate on 1 million

my question is should i open up a real account? and how good is 5% on a million dollars in the real world (obviously not a millionaire to answer this question, though 5% on any amount seems decent)

if i had to choose and describe a style most of my knowledge has come by way of listening to warren buffet interviews, so long term investing-ish with some daily trades.
