Confused on confused emtions

So Viking faction member here, and I admit, I am enjoying the spoils of the season, but I agree that it sucks that my friend, knight faction, received very little for putting in the same effort since we only play together. My friend and I put in the same amount of work, yet I get the best reward.

Despite this, isn't winning rounds based on random timing and luck?I feel like a faction only wins a round based on how many territories it has when the timer stops, and it was pretty clear that the knights the majority of the time had the least amount of territories

So the knights almost winning the final round seems pretty far fetch since they are more likely a smaller faction population compared to the Vikings and they never won a round yet.

I may not be understanding how this season thing works, but it seems to me, that people are bent out of shape for having bad luck.

If winning a round/season is based on how many people are in a faction(which it mattered in the final round), then ya, I believe that it is BS that Vikings will straight up dominate from here on out.
