Is there a music app that has a "creating playlist" mode where it wont accidentally change tracks and ruin the current queue?

When I am creating a playlist in GPM, I often like to do it by adding songs to the now playing queue, and then save the current queue as a playlist. I do this because I like listening to the playlist while I am making it.

A big risk of this is that if I accidentally click one of the songs instead of hitting the tiny "..." it will erase the queue and I will lose all my progress. I think there should be a mode that disables this risk, and all clicks will either add to queue or add to a specified playlist.

Does this make sense?
