Tiny holes in skin on thigh?

So Monday morning when I used the bathroom I noticed a red mark on my thigh and it had developed a head which has long since busted, and accompanying it were three holes in my skin, though one seems deeper than the others, and one doesn't even look like a hole. At first I thought it was a bug bite but when I asked this on another HA forum I was told it may be an ingrown hair and my pores/follicles may have been infected. I've never had this happen to me so you can understand my concern. I've been giving it warm compresses and given it neosporin and the swelling went down, yet the holes remain.

Are these pore that take time to settle down or could it be something worse. I'd post a picture but I'm new here so I don't know the protocol of sharing pictures. I'm freaking out since I watched Monsters Inside Me and the irrational part of me thinks I have worms that burrowed inside me. I need peace of mind.
