Have my own boat. How do I go solo paddling?

The title might be phrased poorly, I couldn't think of a way to summarize my post very well. Last year, my wife and I bought 2 kayaks, a Pungo 120 and a Pungo 140, and we went on several kayaking trips. Well, my wife is pregnant and due in 6 weeks and I really really want to get a good trip in before the baby is born.

Normally, there are two of us loading and unloading the kayaks from the roof of the car and launching and all that. I don't think I could load the kayak onto the car by myself. I'm just wondering how other people do it.
