Brief review of Tauri WoW

I have leveled a human paladin to level 42, here are my thoughts:

This is an all round exceptionally good MoP server. Throughout the low levels I noticed no bugs. Not much else to say, a very blizzlike experience.

Did I mention STONETALON MOUNTAINS ZONE WORKS PERFECTLY! Apart from some Orc riders hovering in the air in the first quest where you shoot down the windriders

I'm not sure if the Zul'Gurub quest was working properly where the troll is meant to be healing the other mob and you have to stop him, since the healing animation wasn't casting, but the quest was completeable in a blizzlike fashion.

There were some glitches in STV with the drive by piracy quest shooting the goblins off the oil rigs, where the boat is sunk slightly below the water. The quest however is completely doable in a short amount of time.

In the Western Plaguelands the quest 'combat training' where you fight an abomination outside the farmhouse until it gives up, the farmers that were meant to assist me did not spawn.

In the quest where you help train the druid Zen'Kiki by killing wildlife, he was not assisting or doing anything except for randomly shapeshifting

In the quest Brother Against Brother in Andorhal no farmers spawned to assist me killing undead. However when I relogged they had appeared and were ready to fight, I had to subsequently relog after finishing Andorhal quests to get rid of them.

In Thousand Needles the boat that takes you from Feralas to the barge is slightly underwater but again this is just a graphical glitch

During the quest where pirates attack the speedbarge, I was ejected from the boat before extinguishing all the fires. I was however able to get the boat again and complete the quest. However once the quest was complete I had to relog to phase out as the crew were still running around panicking

Please to say the bar fight quest worked perfect!

Other issues I've had are incorrect (low) level mobs in Thousand Needles such as some of the Galak centaur in the oil drilling quests and some of the pirates at Southsea Holdfast, which were level 35 in a 40-45 zone. However I can say this didn't seem to affect difficulty too much and I still came close to death often. This appears to be a recurring problem on post-Wrath servers like Atlantiss, where you will sometimes find green mobs in the zone who are meant to be a higher level.

I will report back when I hit 60. For now its a great experience and I'm shocked that the above are the only bugs I've encountered. For a private server its brilliant, the new Cataclysm quests are all scripted brilliantly, as is NPC speech and dungeons including the new MoP Scholomance which I just ran are working great!
