Is it still worth buying a Robin since the acquisition and discontinuation?

The Robin isn't being made anymore, and Nextbit only promised 6 months of support after the acquisition (so end of July?)

Is it still worth buying a new Robin off eBay? I tend to keep my smartphones 3-4 years but don't want to be stuck on an ancient Android version down the line.

Thoughts?
