Looking for feedback on first build.

Hey guys,

So last week i got a Smok alien 220w/tfv8 baby beast. I jumped right in with the T8 coil which i used at 70w. I'm still finding out which flavors i like but my go to juice is 70vg 30pg 3mg nic base mixed with 15% pinkman aroma.

Today I killed that T8 on a ridicilous 9.5s draw and decided to drop by the local shop to get the RBA, I thought i was buying 26g kenthal but when i got home i noticed the guy messed up and gave me 28g stainless steel wire. I thought about going back but in the end i couldn't be arsed and i was eager to get started.

The coil i built is 2x3 wire braids with 6 wraps and it clocks in at 0.157 ohm. Using a cotton wick.

I started at 40w and increased it every few puffs until it started getting a bit too hot for comfort at 110w so i dialed back to 100w and am now taking a break cause i was getting a bit dizzy.

Everytime i increased the wattage by 5w i woukd get a bit of a strange (not disvusting) taste but that goes away after about three puffs.

The vapor goes down real smooth there is almost no uncomfortable throat hit much less than the t8 coil at 70w its warm but not uncomfortable. The clouds are quite dense despite the very high airflow.

BUT i find that its very airy and the taste is recognizable but very faint compared to the factory coil, my thought is that i didnt use enough cotton for the wick and am thinning out the vapor with too much air, there is no liquid leaking through the airflow holes though. Should i try re wicking to get more flavour?
