April 2017 MS Updates

MS Updates were deployed last Tuesday in our org. Since then, there have been some random network connection drops, causing some of our users to get a pop up asking to authenticate to Outlook, plus some other signs of a network connection interruption. Boss comes to me because he thinks it "a network problem." I have started hearing some dustings of it starting last Wednesday. Can't be a coincidence. Can't find anything online. Anyone else have a similar thing going on?
