Kefnet and Bontu
Lsv were quite down on Kefnet (as well as a lot of other people) and Bontu to some degree. Maybe giving Kefnet a D and Bontu a C.
They did mention in passing some of what I'm about to say but seems they slightly underestimated them. I haven't played with or against either so this is mere theory crafting, but I think the common play patterns with both are decent.
Kefnet is clearly the worst god, but with some thought, it's still pretty good. The most common pattern is playing her/him turn 3. Pretty bad on the turn you play her on play or draw. However, turn 4 in the draw you straight up have 7 cards already and can bash if the coast is clear, and on the play you could bash if you wanted to use the ability.
More commonly, you'll be behind, and then it gets interesting. Turn 4 you can pass with 4 mana up and they can't attack you without losing a creature as you can draw and pick up a land if you are on the play, and don't need to pick up on the draw (or you played a 2 drop on the draw and have to pick up a land to get to 7). They usually won't attack and then end step you can use your mana for various instants or cycles that blue has, or just draw with Kefnet and not pick up a land.
They will be able to eventually swarm you if you continually do this by adding creatures to the board while you aren't doing much, and there is a danger of cards like the common bounce spell, the pacifism, and final reward that can answer Kefnet. However, it's not like Kefnet is just a blank. There is a considerable threat of activation. And then, in the late game Kefnet can just take over.
I think Kefnet is maybe about a C+ although I'll have to play with or against a few times to really know.
I don't think Bontu is as much of a build around as lsv and Marshall thought. Bontu is basically a vehicle. It's a total blank without other creatures, but that didn't stop Renegade freighter or untethered express being good in average decks. You don't need the dissenters or tokens for it to be good. It's a house on defence, as not only can they not remove any of your creatures pre combat and still attack profitably that turn, if you have 2 mana up your 'blocks' are really favourable as you can trade your worst creature for their best attacker basically. It reminds me of how in kaladesh block, if they try and kill a creature, you can crew in response to still have a blocker. It's only bad when their best attacker is worse than your worst creature, which isn't a terrible place to be. It is expensive to attack, but it gives you some inevitability, hits hard and the scry helps find more creatures. On the whole, it's a decent amount worse on attacks than most vehicles since you have to lose a creature to even attack, but it's better on defence. Pretty sure I'd just jam it in any random black deck and it'd perform pretty well. I'd probably give Bontu a B- in an average deck, and it goes up a decent amount if you do build around it.
If you disagree with this, at the very least consider that Kefnet auto corrects to Kenneth on iPad.
