Two week Backpacking/Hiking trip to Peru - Need tobacco Recommendations
I'm heading down to Peru in a few weeks and am need of some recommendations. I'll be doing both a bus trip and the Salkantay trail (~75km hike) to Macchu Picchu while I'm there. Since I'll be spending a lot of time outdoors and in the mountains, I'm hoping to bring a pipe along and a tin of tobacco to enjoy along the way. My problem is I'm not sure what to bring. I've really enjoyed Virginias lately (PS Navy Flake, Orlik Golden Sliced, FVF, etc.) so I'm thinking something similar. However, I will be with my girlfriend who doesn't mind me smoking a pipe but I would like to try to pick something a little nice on the nose. Any suggestions? I'm hoping to bring down one tin along with a cob (or maybe one of my briars) and the necessary accessories.
TL;DR: What one tobacco would you bring with you on a backpacking/hiking trip to Peru?

Smoking a pipe might be low on your priority list for a couple of days. Altitude sickness is a bitch. However, i can't think of a better place to enjoy a pipe if you can work it in. Look forward to some amazing pipe pics ; )
Agreed, you need a pipe pic at that classic macchu picchu spot from above the city
Fair point. We're starting in Lima and then staying in Cusco a few days before going up so hopefully it doesn't hit too hard. And hopefully I can snap off some great pipe pictures. Thanks!
