{Afton Robotics Inc. Item Bio} Item #150: "'Red Light, Blackout.'"
Entry for: Item #150
Codename: "'Red Light, Blackout.'"
Danger Level: FATAL
Containment Procedures: Item #150 is to be kept in a darkly lit, 20-by-20 room made of reinforced titanium to make sure the it doesn't break out. Nothing is to be inside the room at any cost, or it might be beneficial to Item #150. The titanium chamber must be reinforced so that Item #150 cannot breach through it.
Appearance: Item #150 was designed to look like a humanoid fox with a hook and an eyepatch, as hinted by hinges above the item's right eye. From the looks of it, this was originally the [DATA EXPUNGED] mascot character of [REDACTED] Pizza.
Other than those features, it seems to be extremely damaged. Its material is burned to the point where its original pigment is not clear; it just remains an ash gray. It has a scraggly look all throughout its body. Many parts are torn or damaged, and several scratches appear on its costume. The costume's upper arms have been removed from their original place. The costume's upper legs and pelvis haven't been as badly burned as the rest of it, but inspection reveals clear smouldering around them. The costume's face is completely charred black, with the snout being the only source of differing color. Item #150's endoskeleton casing appears to be corroding, with some parts eaten through and exposing wiring. In addition, the model also has a large tail that extends towards the ground in multiple segments.
Item #150 has also seem to have made... modifications to itself. Its right hand has been completely replaced with a three-fingered, clawed hand of unknown origin. Its left hand is a "hook" with hinges that allow it to have great flexibility and utility. Before its foot begins, it has a pair of extra limbs with the upper arms of the costume on them. These seem to be for extra mobility in helping it move faster and making the lower body generally stronger.
There are pieces of scrap metal covering up several large holes on Item #150's body, almost as if it was trying to protect them. In addition to this, there is also a bandage-like cloth wrapping around where its left eye would be. Despite the absence of a left eye, there is a faint red glow that shines where an eye would be. The right eye's iris also glows solid with the same color, giving the appearance that its eyes are shining. It also has a crudely constructed metal jaw.
Origin: Item #150 was found around the ruins of a burned-down factory after there were reports of bright red lights and some sort of song coming from there. When investigated, Item #150 appeared and dismantled one of the heavy bots. Thankfully it was contained, but it shredded through the heavy like butter. There was also a hole drilled in the heavy bot's head and gnawing marks.
Behavior: Item #150 is an extremely dangerous item capable of immense amounts of damage. It has also shown resilience through damage and pain.
Item #150 is shown to have "modes" that are depicted through its eyes. There are many, but these are the ones to be aware of:
-
Idle: Its right, in-tact eye glows faintly. While in this state, Item #150 will walk around, or play a music box that it seems to constantly modify. Some of the tracks have resembled other songs, ranging from [DATA EXPUNGED]'s internal music box, the notes in [DATA EXPUNGED]'s unusual humming track, carousel music, and a few songs of unknown origin.
-
Search: Item #150's right eye will now be lit enough to produce a glow similar to that of a search light. It will begin to search for a "prey" using audio sensors and this "searchlight".
-
Chase: The left eye will go completely out, with the right eye glowing instead. In this state, Item #150 has been shown to be extremely fast, with almost no hope of escape unless there is a way to hide yourself quickly without it noticing.
-
Scan: Item #150's right eye will glow. It will look around frantically. The way to not be seen is to stay completely still and show no signs of being alive, like playing dead.
-
Kill: Both of Item #150's eyes will glow with blinding intensity. Its left eye practically glows through the bandage over its head. This phase is self-explanatory. All you can do is pray that it does not harm you. After it has killed the target, it inspects them, almost as if looking for something. When the victim is recovered, they are shown to have a hole drilled through the temples, with several scratches and cuts. To finish it off, the head has been gnawed on.
Other than that, Item #150 has shown to be sentient and capable of speech. It can think and shows interests for peculiar things, one of them being its music box. It mostly expresses anger and disgust for the scientists and most of the items here. It does not show signs of being influenced by any unnatural forces. It craves what it only describes as "perfection".
When it speaks, it has a very raspy, vibrating voice that cuts off from time to time.
Post Note: Dear... God... this item is unbelievable. It's like some kind of sick twisted murder A.I. experiment that learned over the years and tried to repair itself. Who would design something like this? And why would they then put it in a [DATA EXPUNGED] mascot of all things?...
