Early Arrival Camping - Is It Worth It?

Hi friends! I picked up an early arrival camping pass thinking that you could camp anywhere when you arrived on Wednesday.

Now that I know it's only in the designated Camp High Grounds, I'm not so sure, mostly because it's so far away from the water and my group has full intentions of spending a decent amount of time soaking it all up (we bought the giant inflatables and everything).

Did anyone camp there last year and can share your experiences with the actual campgrounds? Are they nicer than the others, does it feel notably closer to the hub of all the activities?

Also, if we did do Early Arrival we would be getting there right before it closes. Does anyone know if there's still plenty of room there even at the end of the night to set up a nice spot?
