߷ Announcing The /r/FidgetSpinners Featured Sellers Program ߷

After much discussion, we’ve decided to retire the official Group Buy Program in favor of running a new and improved promotion for Featured Sellers. While the last group buy we moderated was very successful and well-received, we’d like to build upon that experience. It’s our belief that this new model will give sellers a superior platform to reach their customers while also giving our users additional incentives to purchase from them. Please read the following before submitting any requests. If anyone has any questions or input feedback is always encouraged in our growing little community.

The r/FidgetSpinners Featured Sellers Program:

• Going forward we will allow one seller at a time promote themselves in a curated Featured Seller post.
• The content of the post can be whatever the seller wants, but some good ideas are general Q&A’s, an AMA, current products for sale, upcoming products, design feedback, videos, photos, social media links, and whatever else they choose. As long as it’s contained within the post and follows the rest of the sub’s rules, anything goes.
• In exchange, we encourage that the featured seller offers some sort of promotion. This could be a discount of any amount, a give away, limited edition or exclusive products, swag (shirts, tools, cases) or whatever else they’d like to contribute.
• The post will be stickied for visibility for 3 days and then added to the side bar of the subreddit for the remaining 11 days of the fortnight-long promo.
• Sellers may rotate on a calendered schedule with new sellers taking priority over scheduled repeats.
• Sellers must already be approved sellers and otherwise follow the seller rules outlined in detail here. Approved sellers may submit a request to be a Featured Seller by PMing u/chemistrysquirrel with their request and sellers will be offered a slot in the order in which they apply.

We’ve already got our first featured seller on lock and when they’re ready to go we will kick this whole thing off properly with a crowd favorite.
