Quick update on the build

Added radio trays, front bumper, center diff braces, soon will be the back bumper once I get it

I really like this project. Is it hard to get all the parts separately?

I've been ordering things from different places like dollar hobbyz or even DDM. If it comes from dollar hobbyz some parts are "bundled" so it saves me money and even the headache of looking for certain parts. I use DDM for everything I can't get from dollar hobbyz so screws, bolts, little miscellaneous parts. But yes it's kinda hard I just look at the parts diagram and work from there. It takes a lot of time definitely but I absolutely love building it it's kinda MY creation.

What are those 2 bars on what looks like the transmission case? With the blue aluminum pieces.

Throttle linkage bars. I don't have servos yet so they are just hanging there. One end screws into the servo horn and the other goes to the carb

1 for carb and 1 for brakes?

Actually there are 3 I'm sorry one is hiding in the picture. 2 for brakes and 1 for carb. The losi has 2 disc brakes in the center diff

While i enjoyed opening my 5ive rtr new, building like this is much more satisfying.
That's funny because at one point I was regretting building it but now that the parts list is slimming down I'm loving building it. It just takes a bunch of time
You'll be familiar with everything if something goes wrong. That said, it's a 5ive and very little goes wrong with them.
That's actually one of the things I'm looking to like if something breaks at least I know every screw, bearing, ext. As of now I'm debating between a Zenoah 320 or 340. I love the build though it's been a journey so far and today I'm actually getting the back bumper
