Muse tour FAQ: What to expect about shows, setlists & more

Pinned

Hello, and welcome to r/Muse! As a new tour begins, it's natural that a lot of questions will arise about what to expect of the upcoming concerts, so we'll try to answer them all here! Consider this a FAQ of sorts about seeing Muse live. If you have any other question that isn't already listed here, feel free to ask in the comments!

##1. Is the band touring right now? When are they coming to [my country/city]? Yes, Muse have recently announced the 2017 North American tour with supporting acts 30 Seconds to Mars and PVRIS. You may check upcoming gigs clicking here. Note that the only gigs announced are in the USA and Canada, with the exceptions being Belfast Vital and Reading & Leeds in August. If you don't see a specific place listed there, don't worry, the band may still announce new dates, but for now, this is all we've got.

##2. I'm going to see them live at [location]! How early should I arrive to get a good spot? There is not a single answer to this. The rule of thumb is to arrive at least a few hours before the venue is opened. The times are usually listed on your ticket, and if not, check your local events promoter website. It's important to notice that this tour will feature 30 Seconds to Mars as a support act, so their (extremely passionate) fans might also arrive early to get good spots. If you're really worried about getting good spots, mid-afternoon should be safe enough.

Times are as follows:

  • PVRIS: 7PM EST
  • 30STM: 7:45PM EST
  • Muse: 9:10PM EST

##3. I don't know a lot about the band, is their concert worth attending? Sure! Check a few of Muse's most recent singles to get a taste of what they are all about. Their live concerts are still considered very good and should entertain even casual listeners.

##4. What songs should I expect? Are they going to play [specific song]? How long are their concerts? Setlists seem to be close to what was played during the Drones World Tour. Keep in mind things might change from one gig to the next, but things probably won't be very different from the tour's first concert. Check this sub for our specific gig threads for more info. Shows are about 90 minutes long, and 18 to 19 tracks are being performed (including jams and prerecorded tracks).

##5. What is the stage going to be like? Are there going to be flying drones? We have already seen the stage. It's basically the same as their last festival tour. This video offers a good look at the visuals. So no flying drones this time.

##6. What are the Experience packages, and what's the difference between Follow Me Enhanced and Starlight Seamless?
