Untitled (would really appreciate feedback)
Blankets of mist lay heavy on my green-groved solace
With the curious quakes rumbling through my soul as
Midday thunder during a summer storm, giving way
To years of deep ocean sunshine rays
And a quiet world of uncertain stillness
Naivety as a gauzy blindfold in acquiesce rests
through windowed transparency and clarity possessed
My kaleidoscope world; miniature mirrors reflecting fields of grey
Covetous of vibrant pieces that declined to stay
To leave my small sphere bereft
The weight of gravity is no longer stressed
When the soul is freed, floating above the flesh
How did our love become so familiar with the sobriquet
Of unrequited endearment unusually easy to stray
Against the tenderness in which you transgressed
Active eruption displaying hot-lava passion; stand in awe less
Fire and brimstone rains unholy. No longer blessed
Art thou who lie meek, rising ash through the phoenix ablaze
But blessed are those who stand tall to expose the light behind the haze
To distinguish the sacred words in which must be confessed
Permanently your venal lust i put to rest.
