Why is Yasuo hated so much?

I feel like he is hated and banned more of a meme than because he is insanely strong.

Before you asume i'm a Yasuo Main: I am around high plat/ low dia and got mastery 4 with hin playing in normals.

He is fun to play because he feels very smooth and a good Yasuo is pure beauty.

And even if Yasuo gets fed he can still die extremely fast and always has to go in. A fed burst mage or adc can do the same from a safe range.

And even most bruisers can still duel him even after falling behind early.

I never had problems playing against a Yasuo and most of the time there are much worse champs in the meta to play against. (ever played against galio top?)
