Would like suggestions for my Chromium Esper Control.

DECK HELP

Deck List Just looking for suggestions. My playgroups are a mix between edited precons and a group that has several very tuned decks such as Karador. This is leaning more towards the competitive group.

I'm more struggling with my win cons, not sure if I should lean more control and once I have a good position use my commander with a bit of voltron to win the game, or if I should use several other big creatures such as the Eldrazi instead of my own commander(As Chromium isn't very good) as win cons.

My budget for the most part is anything ideally not cards that cost more than $100 themselves as I can work towards getting the deck finished. Tundra is a card I'm working towards a trade for at the moment.

Just out of curiosity, why do you play Chromium as your commander? If you're struggling to find win conditions, I feel like having a sub-par commander just because you have it doesn't do you many favours.

In that case, I'd consider replacing him with your Dromar, the Banisher. I really like that card, you already have it, and I feel like it'd fit as a good control finisher, as its also a control card in itself. And I haven't seen anyone play it as a commander yet!

Otherwise, you might want to consider getting [[Sen Triplets]] as your commander instead if you don't like the idea of bouncing Dromar to itself. Albeit a bit expensive, Triplets is a good card for not only controlling the game in a unique way, but also stealing big problems from your opponents. And if you get yourself the means to tap for any mana colour (particularly through [[Chromatic Lantern]]), you can play any spell you'd like!

My play group sometimes plays with just original elder dragons for the night, one runs Nicol Bolas, and another runs Vaevictus Asmadi I have dromar as my alternate commander for when I'm not playing with other original Elder Dragons.

Ok, gotcha. If that's the case, ignore the commander suggestion. I figured there was a good reason.

I would replace Serra Angel. It's a fine card, but you might want to put in something else that's a bit more than just a 4/4 flyer with vigilance. What you'd replace her with is up to you (another Eldrazi? Maybe!)

Additionally, I would consider replacing Exquisite Archangel with [[Resolute Archangel]]. Since you've got at least the Eldrazi Displacer to abuse her EtB effect, she'll generally be more useful than Exquisite. Giving your opponents the chance to kill her before her ability triggers is always a danger I'm worried about with her, and Resolute generally just gives you your flat health off the bat. You don't net as much health with Resolute, but when you've got your health back to 40, you've still got a 4/4 flyer that can be resurrected/bounced/flickered whereas Exquisites' gone when her ability goes.

Beyond that, maybe consider replacing Basalt Monolith with another mana rock that doesn't have the 'doesn't untap' stipulation. I feel like you may want to have an artifact that taps for any colour in case you really need to keep Chromium in play to deal 7+ damage.
