[TOMT] [TV] 2006 BBC dark comedy-drama set in Blackpool. Gorilla suit.

Aight so I remember this airing in 2006 (maybe 2005) on the BBC in the UK. The story started with a young couple on a trip to Blackpool. Each episode, as I remember, started with a flash-forward to the end of someone in a gorilla suit falling off the Blackpool Tower.

I also remember it was dark as fuck, and often grimly funny. I caught the first two episodes then life got in the way and I missed the rest, and I only now started thinking about it while reminiscing about other things that happened in my life around that time. Can someone help me out? If there's any other details I can supply please let me know :)
