If we get a divorce is the house mine?

I live in central New York. I bought our house before we were married and never signed any papers or even told him that he could be a co-owner. He hasn't ever payed any bills for the house. I'm thinking of filing for divorce but he's not leaving because he says that the house is his too. Is this true? Is there any way I could get him out of the house?
