Problem with SSD after formatting. Dissapears from disk list and causes issues.
From the beginning. I work on windows 10 Not long ago reinstalled my windows 10 from EVO 840 120gb on SATA3. to EVO 850 500 gb on m.2 . EVO 840 120gb is the one that causes issues. Basically after I formatted this disk, BIOS could not detect it and windows could see it as 0 byte disk. So I could not do anything with it because it had no volume at all. It started working only after I physically unplugged the disk and plugged it to different SATA cable. So I formatted it again with windows installer and created partition on it. It seemed to work normally. BIOS and windows could detect it. I could read and write on it. Problem is that it stops working after hour or so of windows running. Basically after a while of windows running when I enter "my computer" with disk list the "my computer" window freezes itself as it tries to show my disk list. I can still close it. When I restart , the system loads really long and after loading I can not detect this SSD again. I will see it again if I physically change SATA cables again, and then its same thing all over. Additional info. One of the reasons i reinstalled was because I discovered this disk while had Windows installed on it, it didnt have SYSTEM label on the partition. For some reason another disk had it. So I formatted it and installed Windows on another disk. How do I solve this issue? Have I messed up that SSD when I formatted it?
