Installing an MSI GeForce GTX1070 GPU.

Hi guys,

So I just bought a 1070.

When I slot it in, the card lights up, but there is no video output on HDMI (or elsewhere).

I believe this to be a power issue.

I only have 6 pin PCI-E connectors where as the card requires a 6 and an 8 pin.

One of the PCI-E's I have is a 6+2.

Should I plug in the 6 connector and a 6+2 and see if I get video?

Any advice appreciated, thanks.
