European player need a help with franschise

Hi guys, I'm completely new into Američan football, just got Madden and need to help to understand rules. Except of wiki is there a sports page dedicated to American football or any good youtubers explaining it? I would be greatful for any help, links. I also don't know which team to pick as here the sport Is not so popular like in USA. Here is only Dallas Cowboys well known. I would like to play with a strong team, but more than superstars individuals matters to me a strong team spirit. In soccer I'm Juventus fan...If that could help a bit. Appologize my English and thanx everyone for your suggestions
