Templar healer and vampirism worth it?

Basically question couldn't find I post in 2017 asking this question. Wondering if it's worth it. I'm Only doing normal dungeons and questing right now. Not gonna do vet dungeons till I'm 160 CP. how bad are the negatives? I've heard mixed things some say if ur race doesn't have magicka regen to go for it. But then some say if ur not a dunmer then there's no point. What's your guys thoughts. And before u ask my race nether has magicka regen and I'm not a dunmer lol.
