What "accident" killed my 3rd great grandmother in 1850 Illinois?

I found this record of 122 deaths in DuPage County Illinois (just west of Chicago) for the year 1850. The listed causes of death are the usual suspects: cholera, typhoid, Lung inflammation, etc. but there are 5 "accident" deaths listed, including my ancestor Honora Cushing.

Any ideas what accident would have killed a 70-year-old woman in a rural county in 1850? I don't know much about Honora, except she had immigrated from Ireland the previous year with her family. She was probably poor and illiterate.
