Art Buddy Wanted

Where are you from?

*I am from and am currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. This fall I will be going to study at Georgia State University.

What is your preferred medium (E.g Pencils, Paint, Digital etc.)?

• I've never really learned any materials other than pencil and paper, however I have recently been trying to change that by playing around with digital painting and prismacolor. I am always open to learning new stuff though!

What are you working towards-What are your goals? E.g (The type of style (realism, manga, western), people-characters-landscape etc.)

• This is gonna sound kinda weird, but right now one of my biggest issues is that I have a hard time doing sketches that are individual and my own, I often need heavy use of references or my drawings just won't come out well. Other than that I would love to learn different materials and styles as all I really know how to use is pencil and paper.

Are you looking for a buddy of a similar level or something more advanced? (N.B. you can have more than one buddy, so if you feel like you want both then leave this question blank)

• For me the skill of my ArtBuddy doesn't matter, what I really care about is that you're friendly and willing to work with someone who is kinda new to art :)

How often would you like to share work with your artbuddy?

• Probably once or twice a week, I'd really be okay with anything. I do have work right now and school coming in the fall so I can't always be on but I'll try to be fairly flexible.

How do you wish to communicate with your artbuddy? (E.g Skype-IRC-Reddit PM etc)

• Discord would be a great option for me, as it is a program I use anyways and am familiar with, but any computer chat program would work for me.

Extra info about yourself: I am 18 and just recently graduated high school, the reason I'm looking for an art buddy right now is because I'm trying to grow and prepare as much as I can for college art classes this fall, I think that having someone who shares my interest in art and wants to improve with me would be an awesome way to learn.
