Title IX (sexual assault accusation) case at University, question about gaining access to text messages.

Hi, ya'll. I'm currently involved in a title IX/student code of conduct case at my university. I'm in the process of trying to get my rapist kicked out of school for violating student code of conduct. I have my meeting with student code of conduct resolution next week. My question is regarding gaining access to cellphone records. I don't have the messages my rapist sent on my phone anymore, but I'm pretty sure he still has all of them on his phone. I really want access to them, even though I know they could potentially be a double edged sword. My question is whether there is any way legally I can obtain these messages, either through my own phone company carrier or through his. I'm not really sure how this process would work, so I'm kind of stumped. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you :)
