Is anyone experiencing random sudden complete input lost?

I'm using my PC keyboard. After playing just fine for maybe 30 minutes or 1 hour, the game just randomly completely loses input, although it doesn't freeze. No matter what I press, nothing would happen, so I needed to ALT F4 and restart the game to regain control.

A Google search didn't suggest that others are experiencing the same issue, so I'm putting it out there first.
