Brow products for people who are afraid of brow products?

Pardon the silly title, to explain, I've got a good bit of Italian heritage, meaning I launched into puberty at 12, complete with all the unpleasantness that comes with it. My eyebrows were thick and quite nearly a unibrow and I wasn't allowed to wax them for a few years. Kids are brutal so I took some teasing while they were so bushy.

Now that I have a shape I like I really just tweeze them to maintain. They're not super thin by any means, but there are some parts here and there that seem a little sparser than I'd like. Whenever I use the pencil I have it seems like it just looks like too much, too strong, and draws too much attention.

I know the trend now is really really strong brows, but I've just always felt that in a lot of cases they look overdone and kinda unnatural. While some look absolutely great, I know there's no way I could pull it off without feeling self-conscious. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else feels similarly and has any suggestions for products that yield a more subtle look?
