Need some help flashing Teensy 2.0

Hey guys, I just finished handwiring my planck and tried the flashing process. I used qmk.sized.io to get the hex file but when I used the teensy loader, my teensy did not show up. My teensy may be a fake as I bought it off of eBay. My question is it possible to use it or will I have to use my atmega board?
