Mac G-Raid with Thunderbolt - Connecting to my PC
Is it possible?
I got G-Raid (Mac formatted, with Thunderbolt) drives from a client to dump a ton of footage on to. The drives have Thunderbolt 2. My PC does not have a Thunderbolt 2 port, but I do have a USB 3.1 port on my motherboard, so I got Apple's "Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2" adapter. My computer is recognizing the adapter, but not the drives that are attached to it. I made sure to update my motherboard with the USB 3.1 drivers since I haven't used the port before. I also downloaded the Windows version of G-Raid software in hope that it would see the drive that way. I have MacDrive Pro 10, and also says there are no drives attached.
Any suggestions?
Should I get regular USB 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter? Would that work, or do these Apple dongles just not work on a PC?
