Anyone else wish we got that rumored sequel in Paris?

I remember renting Cloverfield from Blockbuster before they closed and thinking how amazing this was. I went on my parents computer immediately after and looked up for a sequel. What I saw was a rumored sequel based in Paris. There were even fan made posters for it and everything. I wish it was made.
