Trials of King Herc, Why is Ne Zha/Ao Kuang banned?

So in the Trial of King Herc we've got a few banned characters. The first round of banning got rid of Janus because his portals could let him and his team skip several sections, The Morrigan because changing into other gods in a pve adventure with no enemy team would probably be very buggy, Herc because it's his gamemode therefore he can't actually participate in it in any way, Izanami because her auto attacks were way too good, Hades because if you group up tons of enemies together he does a ton of damage whether he has items or not, Rama because his 1 was pretty strong as well, and Ao Kuang, Jing Wei, Nu Wa, Ratatoskr, Thanatos, and Thor because they fly.

I see why they did Thanatos, Ratatoskr, and to some extent Jing Wei as the flight could let them skip a bunch of the level. with Nu Wa I guess they just didn't want you to hit your head in caverns (ult is almost useless, but not quite as it's still an escape).

The questionable things I had to think of was why did they ban Ao Kuang and Ne Zha? Sure Ne Zha could go up high in the air and Ao Kuang could fly with their ults if not for a big problem. They have no targets for their ult to hit. Go into jungle practice and you'll find that Ao Kuang cannot target minions and there are no god enemies in the adventure. Ne Zha will pass through minions turning his ult into a long and fast dash, but it will never go up as there is no proper target.

So one reason I thought Ne Zha could be banned is because he might synergize too well with crit items. Then wondered why they would keep artemis who as well synergized well with crit items. Then I thought it was that two of his abilities were useless, but then why keep sylvanus whose 3 does nothing and whose ult is just cc immunity while being rooted for a second. his auto attack chain is nice, but it's not as stupid as say bellona or osiris' with auto attack items. I don't get why Ne Zha was banned.

Then there's Ao Kuang who just has a single ability that's useless. Other than that he's got his 2 which just does a ton of burst damage on a single target. I'd say that he's probably fine and has basically no reason why he couldn't be in the game mode.

Just remember there is an character with an ult that is COMPLETELY useless in the game already known as nemesis.

TLDR: There doesn't seem to be an apparent reason why Ne Zha and Ao Kuang are banned from the game mode. So what is the reason?
