How WWE should have booked the Wrestlemania 27 main event and CM Punk winning the WWE Championship.

Firstly, lets begin with the Royal Rumble 2011. The Miz loses the WWE Title to John Cena and CM Punk wins the 2011 Royal Rumble after eliminating Randy Orton (with the help of the nexus). The next night on raw The Nexus (without punk) arrive to attack Cena to soften him up for wrestlemania, Punk then appears and orders the nexus to not lay a finger on Cena. The next week on raw we have tag match with Punk, Husky Harris, Curtis Axel, Otunga and Mason Ryan vs Cena,Orton,Edge, Christian and John Morrison. The nexus target Cena in the match, eventually the babyfaces (minus cena) clean house and the match ends with Edge spearing Otunga. After the match, Punk (with a steel chair) orders the nexus to brawl with the babyfaces. Both teams stand together and have a show down and suddenly Punk uses a steel chair to attack the nexus helping the babyfaces (who are confused) turning face, everyone is shocked. Raw ends with Punk leaving his Nexus armband in the ring and walks off. The nexus are disbanded and the remaining members wont appear on tv until the elimination chamber. The next week on raw Punk announces that April 3rd 2011 (the day of wrestlemania) is the day is contract expires [ like how he did in real life ] and says hes leaving with the title and explains why he turned on the nexus was because he knew when the time came they would eventually betray him and that he wants Cena all to himself. On the go home raw for the elimination chamber, Punk cuts the pipebomb and of course hypes up the match with John Cena. Punk is suspended by McMahon and vince cancels the match like how he did in real life, Vince reveals that the runner up winner Randy Orton gets a title shot but has stated that he wants to fight for the WHC instead. So Vince says who that whoever walks out as WWE Champion in the elimination chamber match will have the choice to decide who their opponent will be for wrestlemania.

The elimination Chamber Match is:

Cena (c) vs The Miz vs John Morrison vs Del Rio vs The Big show vs Alex Riley.

Bear in mind that in this booking the rock returns to host wrestlemania like how he did in real life. Cena retains the the title at Elimination Chamber. The next night on raw Cena says that he will announce his opponent at the end of the show, because the rock had recently returned we'd all expect that Cena will choose the rock. Cena declares that he wants his opponent to be CM Punk as he did win the royal rumble and thinks that he will retain at wrestlemania. Cena asks vince to re-instate Punk which he does (like in real life), Vince the says that if Cena loses the title, he will be suspended until July (in real life, it was cena being fired if he loses, i find him being suspended more believable). The next week the rock announces that he will be the special guest referee. During the Punk vs Cena build up we get the dramatic hype to the match.

The main Wrestlemania 27 matches are:

Cena (c) vs Punk (the rock as referee)- Winner= CM Punk

Edge (c) vs Randy Orton- Winner= Randy Orton (edge retires)

Triple H vs The Undertaker- Winner= Taker

During the Punk and Cena Match, the fans are rooting punk, and the 7 year fanboys, Fan girls and soccer moms are rooting for Cena, obviously. Punk and Cena have the 5 star match at money in the bank in the wrestlemania 27 main event. The one thing i would change is, John Cena is very desperate to win. The Rock is knocked down accidentally by Cena who punches him in the face by mistake, Punk then hits Cena with the GTS (but cleanly, when cena is ready to continue), Punk pins Cena and the crowd count to ten and a new ref appears but Cena kicks out, Cena then puts punk in the STF, Punk refuses to tap. Vince McMahon does the screwjob on Punk and the new ref rings the bell. Cena Holds the title up in the air people are booing (Cena hasn't turned heel btw). Suddenly the Rock Re-appears with a mic. With a huge pop he rock bottoms the new ref and hits the people elbow on Vince McMahon. He stares at Cena looking pissed off saying you dont deserve that title, (to his face not with a mic) and rock bottoms Cena. He gets another huge pop when he says that the match is now restarted. Punk lifts Cena up and gives him one final GTS. The Rock counts "1,2,3", Punk is the new WWE Champion and walks out of wrestlemania.

The next night on raw, Punk does not appear, he mentions on his twitter account that he has taken a flight to Chicago and thanks all his fans for his support. Cena and Rock Open Raw, the match for wrestlemania 28 gets announced like in real life. Then, Vince appears, Vince McMahon and Cena Stand in the ring, Vince suspends Cena and says he will not return until July 17th in the money in the bank ppv. From now till mitb, Randy Orton is currently the top face of the company and begins a feud with The Miz up until money in the bank where he retains whc.

For Money in the Bank, Orton retains again against The Miz. As for the ladder matches. There are normally 2 brief cases. Blue for the WHC and Red for the WWE Title, i would have the red brief case be eligible to use against the world heavyweight champion as the wwe champion CM Punk has quit. Before the PPV, CM Punk would tweet a pic of a money in the bank ticket saying that he will be in attendance. I would Have Christian win the Blue one to begin the randy orton rivalry (sorry Bryan, you can win next year) and have the returning Cena win the red one. After Cena wins his briefcase, i would have him call out Punk for being a coward for leaving (teasing his return). The Camera would show Punk laughing at Cena's words holding the wwe title in the air with the crowd chanting CM Punk, But nothing happens. The night after Money in the Bank, i would have Punk return with his new theme song and reveal why he came back (like in real life). I would end the Punk and Cena rivalry with John Cena cashing in his title match in advance for SummerSlam setting up a Punk (c) vs Cena rematch, where Cena Puts Punk over clean with no chaos this time and their feud ends with Cena shaking Punks hand. The PPV ends with what happens in real life with Kevin Nash tearing both quads, minus del rio cashing in. Punk still remains champion and fueds will triple h from now till survivor series. I would still Have Punk hold the title for a record time ending at wrestlemania 29 making it a full 2 year title reign.
