Long distance trip in Portugal/general tips

Hi, new to the sub and semi-new to kayaking in general. I love long distance hiking and biking and recently started kayaking (I don't own one yet though) and plan on combining the two this summer. I would like to do a 7-14 days tour in or around Portugal in August, has anyone done/heard of some good places there or nearby? is sea kayaking too hard for a first timer? can you rent decent kayaks for decent prices? Any general tip welcome, and thanks a lot
