Upgrade over the included amplifier with the Terk Antenna?

I'm thinking of upgrading the included Amp with the Terk HD antenna. The antenna is currently sitting on the top floor of the house and I don't think that moving the antenna to the attic would be worth the trouble of wiring since it's only a difference of about 5' from where it's sitting right now so that's why I'd rather do something with the amp if it makes a difference.

I'm in Canada so would help if the amp was available in Canada at least via eBay. Thanks
