My pops are being purged and I can't do anything about it.

So, Prethoryn has taken one of my planets (well, they took, whole bunch of them, but this one is unique) and started purging pops there. I've retook it, but pops are still on the chopping block.. I have dissallowed purifing but to no avail. Can I save them?
