Ranom Question: Can you tech Kragg's Dash Attack?
Teching moves to not continue getting combo'd seems to be extremely important, even compared to smash bros, but although I come from smash bros and know how to tech (even if I haven't mastered doing it 100% of the time yet) there are some moments in RoA that make me wonder if I actually understand how it works. For instance, sometimes, I swear I'm hitting the button in the correct window before i hit the ground in order to tech, but nothing will happen...
I've heard someone say, or maybe i imagined this, that you have to be in tumble to tech?? If this is the case, maybe sometimes I'm hitting the ground while being in hitstun but not tumble?? If that's the case, is there a special landing that occurs that's extra laggy so you can't parry on the ground to interrupt a combo??
If someone could maybe walk me through and explain the intricacies of how teching functions in this game, maybe even compared to how it works in smash bros since that's my biggest frame of reference, I would be very grateful. Maybe even elaborate on specific combos/circumstances that occur often, like kragg's grounded forward 'stuff' combos, or zetter's DA and what is supposed to be done after you've gotten hit by it. I play Absa, if it's important to know my character options.
Thanks in advance!
