How hard is it to get into the MAS online program?

I'm currently a Junior undergrad planning on doing the MAS in Criminology online at UCI. My GPA is 2.87 but I can get it to 3.0 next semester. Is it too hard to get into the program? I'll also be getting a letter of recommendation from distinguished professor of UCI and the program, not sure if that'll help my low gpa.
