Any tips to do well in Ranked Matches?

Since gaining Level 10 i've jumped into Ranked Matches, only to be faced by endless amounts of Nilfgaardians running amok with unlimited Cow Carcasses and all sorts of other tripe. Literally gone down to 200 or so in points and feels really impossible to reach the next rank (600) at this point in time.

Personally feel a bit discouraged to even continuing ranked, is there any resource available somewhere to help me figure out how to get an up?

Really enjoying the Northern Realms deck, but it doesnt feel like it can even compete at the minute?
