PSP GO issue. Pleeeease help!

Hey guys! So I have a PSP GO that had full battery, but after a little while of playing a PlayStation game, it will randomly shut off. The battery is still full. I'll turn it on again, and it will shut right off. I've been looking around online and I read that it might be a CPU or motherboard issue? I wanted a confirmation on this is all or anything y'all think it can be. The thing is this thing is old (10 years??), but I've taken really good care of it!! It's so sad to think its at the end of it's life. :(
