macro help

so ive been trying to set up a macro on my mouse to press and hold 'w' for use in games so i dont have to hold 'w' when im running around alot. the difficulty im running into is i toggle the macro and it holds 'w' but then i cant toggle it off with a second tap of the macro key. any hints on how i could avoid the endless 'w's but stil achieve my goal?
