A Fleeting Memory of French Disco Rap...

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster.

I have a faint memory that's been floating around my mind for some time. I remember being on a night out, in a club / bar of somekind and thoroughly enjoying the hell out of some French Rap song with a disco beat.

It sounded relatively contemporary; it didn't have an 80s production style, nor did it try to emulate it. It just sounded pretty care free... pretty laissez-faire if you will. :P (I don't even know if that's the right expression) I don't speak french so I didn't pick up any distinctive lyrics.

I can't remember much about that night, as I was rather inebriated. In my head it had a tempo around 110bpm or so and the rapping seemed to breeze over the beat swiftly, but smoothly; it wasn't a particularly jagged delivery.

I was just wondering if anyone knows some tracks that might fit that description? Searching google for French Disco Rap produces suprisingly few results (just a lot about French Boogie, which is very 80s and therefore not like this). And it definitely wasn't Zouk (I love Zouk though).

I know the odds of finding the exact one are slim, but I thought at least we might all get some good recommendations out of it. :D
