Need to figure out what PSU to buy

Please help me figure out what PSU to buy for my new build. I want to buy the PSU before everything else (because my old PSU is on the verge of dying).

I would like to go with something very silent (fanless maybe) and fully modular. I'll probably never have more than one graphics card but I may have an 8 or more core CPU in the future and possibly some water cooling for everything.

I think price shouldn't be an issue with a PSU just because of how important it is and how long it's usually used for.

I would be very grateful for your suggestions.
