[Help] Item stuck in customs. Haven't received any official communication yet.

Hello saars,

I had ordered some stuff from kickstarter. The total cost (with shipping) was 5.5k in total. The finished product was shipped from Taiwan in the last week of April.

Two weeks back, I received a call from "trading agent" who had all the information about the package (original shipped country, my name, address, phone number etc) and informed that the item has been in customs since 3rd of May. He told me to either wait for the official letter or send him relevant docs to get the item out of customs. Now after more than 2 weeks I haven't received any official communication from customs office and I'm worried about my product.

Has anyone been in a similar position? The original sender/creator has not replied to my emails or provided with any tracking ID as well :.

• How do these agents get to know before the recipient?
• How does one confirm if the item is actually stuck in customs?
• After how many days does the package get impounded?
