Limerence, a subreddit that helped

Reading the stories and comments in r/breakup was really comforting to me during my break up one year ago but the stories and posts that helped me the most were in the r/limerence subreddit. Researching what limerence was and reading in that subreddit really helped me feel like I wasn't alone when I just wasn't getting over him. I just wanted to share this with anyone who is being comforted by the r/breakup subreddit and who would like an additional place to read and realize that you are not alone. The pain of losing someone fades gradually over time and there's nothing you can do to speed it along besides simply waking up every day and taking care of yourself until it's time to go to bed again. Gradually the pain will dissipate but even when you feel like you are getting better sometimes you will have bad days or bad moments. This is normal and you are still making progress towards the day that this won't hurt any more. One day you are going to be so happy again and you are going to look back on this pain and will have a hard time even trying to imagine how you could have felt that way. I've been in this situation and felt this exact pain with more people than I care to admit. I promise even though it feels like you will never get over this. You will feel better again one day.
