Most simple character for beginners?

Tekken 7 is the first Tekken game I've ever played. Is there a recommended character for complete beginners just to learn the mechanics (kind of like how Street Fighter starts you off with Ryu and Guilty Gear starts you off with Sol Badguy)?

Thanks!
