Problem with Facebook Messenger

The app itself works fine but occasionally it would force close in the background and I would not receive any messages until I reopen the app. It would tell me reconnecting and all the messages would come in at once.

I'm on OnePlus 3 OOS 4.1.3.

I do have agressive doze and app hibernation off.
